MOF believes in an holistic approach to improving life for residents at our low-income housing communities. We establish a community room on each property so residents can learn and grow together in a variety of ways. To that end, we recently finished renovating a new clubhouse for our residents at Pinhook Apartments in Lafayette, LA.
After completion our Pinhook chaplain, Michelle Janis, didn’t waste any time putting the community room to good use!
First, she held an event for children in partnership with Child Evangelism Fellowship. CEF teaches children the Bible through song, stories, and games.
Secondly, Ms. Janis held a family game night to bring together all our residents. Great fun was had by all!
We also recently partnered with Nouvelle Church to offer “Escape from Poverty” classes to our residents.
We are thankful for each ministry and volunteer who helps share the love of Christ with our residents at Pinhook!
