We had a great time the Saturday before Easter hunting for eggs and sharing Resurrection Eggs at the Suffolk Manor and Shadowood Apartments. Although many residents were away on Saturday visiting with family, participation included both children and parents, with about 10 children at each party.

At Shadowood we held an Easter Egg hunt, then used the Resurrection Eggs that Trinity so graciously provided to share the Gospel. Most of the children were quite young. The oldest boy was about nine years old. He has obviously been paying attention at church, as he helped us tell the story. One mom was quite interested and wanted her child to hear more. Most provided names and apartment numbers so we can connect with them again.

The Saturday Easter Party at Suffolk Manor was a ton of fun! The participation from residents was nice, a few kids and parents. The time was meaningful, fun, and ended with a great presentation of the Resurrection Eggs. Korie led the day and did a great job.

The relationships we are building continue to gather steam. It’s a long process, but it is so worth it!
